Experience That Guides Every Build
For nearly 50 years, clients have trusted Westwind to provide quality construction with planning, precision, and passion. Westwind has grown to be one of the Midwest's premiere construction companies, offering experience and expertise in a wide range of building sectors.
Rooted in the Skilled Trades. Family Led for Two Generations.
Westwind Construction's roots are grounded in the skilled trades. Founder and Chairman Greg Oleszczuk—and his father before him—built careers working with their hands, a tradition that continues throughout Westwind's leadership today. In 1977, Greg launched G.O.E. Contractors with a pickup truck, a set of tools, and a five-person crew. Five years later, he founded Westwind Construction. Today, his son, Peter Oleszczuk, carries on that legacy as President, leading Westwind's continued commitment to quality craftsmanship, strong relationships, and long-term growth.
Passion for What We Do and Who We Do It For
Westwind does much more than build. We listen closely to get to know you and help you plan for your future by designing a building that will lay the foundation for your future success. By approaching everything we do with integrity, we focus on cultivating lasting relationships with our clients and the communities in which we build. Using our design/build model, we walk with clients through every step of the planning and building process – from master planning, design, and construction to maintenance and updates.
Investing in our communities.
Westwind strives to improve our community and the world around us — whether it's conducting every business interaction with integrity, standing behind our work, or investing in the communities where we build.
We support local organizations and schools committed to equipping future skilled trade workers, as well as many other local non-profit groups.
